TAL Delhi Crystal Ball: Gameweek 4 (Season 2)

Standings after Gameweek 3

Things are heating up with teams looking to get into the groove of things with a quarter of the season done. Dwarka remain in pole position grabbing three wins in three games. Q Squad are in second while Sen Q are in third. The competition this season is unlike any other with multiple teams having a shot at the title!

8:30 AM: Sen Q v Phoenix FC

The first game of the day has Sen Q playing Phoenix FC. Sen Q have moved into the top three after last week’s win over Storm Youth. Their mix of experience and youth has worked wonders and will help them in the long run too.

Phoenix FC won a close encounter last week against DSFC but in the process lost their captain Namay to injury. Both teams have extremely different styles of play so it will be interesting to see to how the teams plan this one out.

Crystal Ball: Sen Q (1) – (1) Phoenix FC

9:45 AM: FC Kickers v Highflyers FC

FC Kickers will be opening their TAL campaign against Highflyers FC. Kickers are an all-Japanese team based out of Delhi and come in with a reputation for playing good football. Highflyers have been unlucky not to have picked up a win already but their performances have been solid and they will be hoping to catch the new boys off guard in this encounter.

Crystal Ball: FC Kickers (2) – (2) Highflyers FC

11:00 AM: Storm FC v Dwarka FC

The headliner of the day has Storm FC taking on league leaders Dwarka FC. Storm FC didn’t play last week so they ended up dropping out of the top three but they have a chance here to knock the leaders off their perch.

Dwarka are in fine form winning three on the trot and will be looking to extend their winning streak to four but they come up against a tough opponent in Storm so they will have to be on their ‘A’ game if they are to eke out a win. Although it might not be a goal fest we expect to be entertained thoroughly.

Crystal Ball: Storm FC (1) – (1) Dwarka FC

2:00 PM: Storm Youth v Delhi Student FC

The fourth game of the day sees Storm Youth taking on Delhi Student FC. Storm Youth lost their opening game to Sen Q but they must have gained experience with this being their first outing as a team. Delhi Student FC have baffled many by not picking up a win yet but they might feel this is the week they do exactly that.

DSFC go into this game as favourites but we do expect Storm Youth to put up a good challenge.

Crystal Ball: Storm Youth (1) – (2) Delhi Student FC

3:15 PM: Panthers FC v Wishwakings

The penultimate game of the day has Panthers FC taking on Wishwakings. Panthers ran riot in their first game defeating Ultimate FC by a 7-1 score line and will be hoping to build on that but they come up against one of the stronger teams in the league this week.

Wishwakings have been burdened by injuries and haven’t been able to field their strongest 11 week in week out, which has caused them all sorts of problems. We expect this to be a close matchup with Wishwakings having a slight advantage.

Crystal Ball: Panthers FC (2) – (2) Wishwakings

4:30 PM: Ultimate FC v Q Squad

The final game of the day has Ultimate FC taking on Q Squad. Ultimate FC lost their first game last week to Panthers and will be hoping to change things around this week. Q Squad have been impressive since the start of the league and currently occupy second placed in the table.

Although playing in their home ground has been an added advantage, they are a young team full of talent who are making a great impression around the league. Q Squad should win this game but in football anything can happen until the final whistle is blown.

Crystal Ball: Ultimate FC (1) – (3) Q Squad
