Juventus and Bayern Munich have been the two most dominant football teams in Europe's top five leagues in the last decade.
Last season, the Bianconeri won their ninth consecutive scudetto, which was their 36th Serie A title overall. Bayern Munich lifted their eighth consecutive Meisterchale (Bundesliga title), which was their 29th triumph in the competition.

Benfica pips Italian giants Juventus for the fifth-highest tally of league wins in Europe.
The Eagles won their 37th Portuguese league title in 2018-19 by equalling their record of most goals (103) in a league season which they set in 1963-64. In one of the closest title races in the country in recent memory, Benfica pipped defending champions Porto by just two points to emerge triumphant.
Benfica were beaten to the league title by Porto last season, but the Eagles have been the most dominant team in Portugal in the last decade. Benfica won six league titles during the 2010s, which was two more than that of their fierce rivals Porto.
#4 Olympiacos (Greece) - 45 titles
Olympiacos won a record-extending 45th league title last season after a two-season absence from the winner's podium.
After winning seven Super League titles in a row from 2011 to 2017, the record Greek champions were denied by AEK in 2018 and PAOK in 2019. But last season, Olympiacos beat the defending champions by seven points to win their first league title of the decade and their 45th overall.
In fact, such has been the Red-Whites' dominance in the Greek domestic scene that they have won six more league titles than the combined tally of five other teams who have won the competition.

Scottish powerhouse Celtic, who lifted their 50th league title in 2018-19, were awarded their 51st league title last campaign after the Scottish season was abandoned due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
After Rangers won the first two Scottish league titles of the 2010s, Celtic have now won all of the next nine on offer.
In fact, Celtic, along with Italian giants Juventus and Bulgaria's Ludogorets Razgrad, have the longest active run of consecutive league triumphs in Europe, with the trio having won their last nine league titles.

Northern Irish champions Linfield, who won their 53rd league title in 2018-19, were awarded their 54th last season after the COVID-19 pandemic forced a suspension of the season.
With their latest triumph, their third in the last four seasons, Linfield are 31 clear of closest challengers Glentoran as they won a record-equalling 54th league title, the joint-most by any club team in Europe.

The 'other' giants of Scottish football, Rangers, won their 54th league title almost a decade ago when they beat their arch-rivals Celtic by a point in a thrilling title race in 2010-11.
Since then, Rangers have fallen on hard times. A financial crisis in 2011-12 saw the club go into administration and subsequently demoted to the fourth tier of Scottish football.
Rangers won three promotions in four years to return to the top flight in 2016-17. In their four subsequent seasons in the first division, the 54-time champions finished behind Celtic twice, which includes the unfinished 2019-20 season that was suspended because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
With Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard at their helm and a decent group of players at their disposal, the fallen giants of Scottish football will look to end Celtic's nine-year stranglehold of the Scottish league title and return to winning ways for the first time in a decade.
