After just a season with the North London outfit, Serge Aurier might just be sold by Mauricio Pochettino. As it turned out, he didn’t have the best of seasons, which is why Spurs could be keen to sell them for the right price.

Meanwhile, Erik Lamela has been at the club for just under five years and while he might not have made the impact that was initially hoped from him, he has turned out to be a decent signing for them.

According to ESPN, however, Spurs might offload them should the right amount of money being offered. While Mauricio Pochettino judges them as useful squad players, he might have to sell them to fund big-money purchases.

Spurs’ first signing?

According to Sport, Tottenham may have marked out their first signing for the summer after all – and it is going to be someone dubbed as the next Andres Iniesta.

Barcelona youth academy product Riqui Puig has wowed most of Europe with his rise within the youth ranks of Barcelona. He is one of the brightest gems in Catalonia but Barca are powerless to stop him from leaving as he has almost made up his mind on it.

He made his debut with the Barcelona B this season and has caught the attention of a few managers. Among them, Mauricio Pochettino’s Tottenham are in the most advanced position as Pochettino is apparently in love with his style of play.

While nothing has been finalized as of yet, Spurs are in the final stages of the negotiations. Meanwhile, Barcelona, being aware of the interest in him, have pushed him down to the Juvenil A – a step below the B team.

Everything, the report further adds, will be decided within a few days’ time.
