Arsenal and Liverpool receive Max Meyer boost
Schalke's Max Meyer has reportedly cancelled a meeting with the club president which was scheduled to talk about his future.
Meyer has been linked with a move to England with the German midfielder now being in the final few months of his Schalke contract.
Bild (via the Mirror) have quoted Schalke president Clemens Tonnies as saying,
"I had an appointment with Max and his advisor, which was cancelled by his agent on short notice. If someone doesn’t want to talk to me, I cannot change that.”
Jonas Hector monitored by Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund
FC Koln's Jonas Hector is a wanted man. Kicker has reported that if Cologne gets relegated, Hector will be available for around €8 million.
Both Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund have registered their interest in the player who has been capped 35 times by the German national team who is trusted heavily by Joachim Low.
Dortmund are looking for an upgrade over Marcel Schmelzer whereas Munich is looking for a deputy to David Alaba.
