Manchester United have moved back into the top four of the Premier League after recording a hard-fought 3-2 comeback win over Southampton on Saturday. The Red Devils have been in imperious form since Ole Gunnar Solskjaer took charge and it doesn't look like they are going to slow down any time soon.

Following Arsenal’s 1-1 draw with Tottenham in the day’s early fixture, the onus lied with Man United to win in order to regain their spot in the top four. But things did not start as planned, with Southampton stealing an early lead through Valery.

The away side did not allow the Red Devils any breathing space and deservedly went into the half time break with a one-goal advantage. However, Man United sprung into life in the second half, thanks to goals from Romelu Lukaku (double) and Andreas Pereira.

The young Brazilian netted the equalizer in the 53rd minute before Lukaku made it 2-1 just six minutes later. The Belgian striker received a nice pass from Pereira and finished with aplomb to put United in the lead.

In the 75th minute, though, Southampton drew level thanks to a well-taken free kick by James Ward-Prowse. But with just two minutes to go, Lukaku again popped up with what proved to be the winner in the game.

There was, however, still time for more drama as Paul Pogba missed the chance to make it 4-2, but the Frenchman missed a last-minute penalty.

The result sees Manchester United move back into the top four, leapfrogging Arsenal who earlier drew with rivals Spurs. The Red Devils are also now just three points below Mauricio Pochettino’s men who are third on the Premier League table.

In the meantime, Twitter has been buzzing over Man United’s impressive win over Southampton.
