Cristiano Ronaldo took his dominance in the Serie A to another level when he played a role on all three of Juventus’ goals during the side’s 3-3 draw with Parma on Saturday. The Portuguese has been in imperious form this season, and it appears he will not be slowing down anytime soon.

On Saturday, the former Real Madrid star returned to the top of the Serie A scoring charts after netting a double against Parma. Ronaldo opened the scoring for Max Allegri’s side in the first half with a well-taken 36th minute goal.

The Portuguese then turned provider, as he set up Rugani to make the score line 2-0 in favour of the Old Lady. However, Parma fought back to reduce the deficit, with Barilla scoring to make it 2-1. Two minutes later, Ronaldo struck again to restore Juventus’ two-goal lead.

A this point it looked like the result was settled for the hosts but a late fightback from Parma ensured they snatched a draw at the death. Two late goals from Gervinho were enough to disrupt Juve’s party.

In spite of the result not going Juve’s way, it was a perfect night for Ronaldo as his two goals saw him move top of the Serie A scoring charts. The 33-year-old has now scored 17 goals in the Italian league, with a further six assists to his name.

He is, however, closely followed by Fabio Quagliarella who also boasts 16 goals. Ronaldo may be new in the Italian league, but he has so far proven that he is up for the challenge. The former Man United star has led by example and continues to show that age is just a number.

Meanwhile, the Twitter world has been up and running over Ronaldo’s double which has sent him top of the scoring charts.
