Neymar has been on top of the Twitter trends since Paris Saint-Germain’s 2-1 Champions League win over Liverpool on Wednesday night.

The Brazilian was in top shape, as he scored the crucial second goal which eventually turned out to be the winner against the English giants.

However, the highlight of the game was not PSG’s win, but a particular skill that Neymar pulled off in the course of the game. The 25-year-old first dazzled with an amazing piece of skill to nutmeg Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson.

He then followed up with an eye-catching skill to bamboozle two Liverpool players before he was cluttered down. Neymar took the ball on the left side of the penalty area and destroyed both Xherdan Shaqiri and Joe Gomez with an incredible rainbow flick.

Of course, there was controversy at the end of the game, as some Liverpool fans accused the former Barcelona star of often diving.

In the aftermath of the game, Reds manager Jurgen Klopp said, as quoted by the Guardian:

“I know that now the main headline will be ‘Klopp said’ but the number of interruptions in that game was just not cool. Two times in a row we won the fair play award in England and tonight we look like butchers after the yellow cards we had. It was clever of PSG, especially Neymar, but a lot of other players went down like it was really something serious and we were not that calm any more.
“We were aggressive, and unfortunately negative aggression doesn’t help in football, we got rather frustrated and angry. But we have to deal with it, that’s our job. If the ref lets that happen then we have to deal with it.”

But forget about Klopp’s comments, the real deal was not Neymar’s alleged diving, but the incredible skill he pulled off to get past Shaqiri and Gomez.
