Twitter reacts to Liverpool's 2-2 draw against West Brom

West Bromwich Albion v Liverpool - Premier League
Salah made history!

West Brom hosted Liverpool in Saturday's lunch game kick off and Klopp decided to rest some players ahead of their crucial UEFA Champions League semi-final tie against AS Roma.

Danny Ings, Joe Gomez and Alberto Moreno all got rare starts but despite the rotation, Liverpool controlled the game in the first half.

They took the lead in the 4th minute through Danny Ings, who was the fox-in-the-box to strike the ball into the back of the net following a set-piece situation. It was his first goal for the club in 930 days!

West Brom came back fighting but failed to create clear openings. Liverpool headed into half-time with a lead to protect.

Second half started in end-to-end fashion and it was West Brom who were showing more intent, and rightly so.

However, in the 72nd minute, Oxlade Chamberlain's delightful ball was chipped into the back of the net by Mohammed Salah, who in the process equalled the most goals scored in a 38-game season.

West Brom got one back seven minutes later as Liverpool failed to deal with a corner and Livermore scored to give them hope.

And all hell broke loose at The Hawthorns in the 88th minute as Salomon Rondon expertly headed the goal into the back of the net from Chris Brunt's free-kick to salvage a point.

True fighting spirit form The Baggies and not a result Liverpool wanted ahead of the game against Roma.

Here's how Twitter reacted:

Salah's record-equalling goal:

Rondon's equaliser!

Praise for Ings and Salah!

A few trolls for Liverpool as well!
