Manchester United made light work of their opponents in their third Europa league group game defeating Fenerbahce 4-1. It was a game that marked the return of the player that played a crucial part in helping them win their last title in 2013, Robin Van Persie.

Paul Pogba opened the scoring through a penalty and then minutes later Fenerbahce conceded another one, this time Martial stepping up to make it 2. But the best of the bunch was United’s 3rd goal as Pogba placed one beautifully in the top corner after being set up by Jesse Lingard.

The Englishman then got himself on the scoresheet just after the restart. Robin Van Persie though ensured he did not have the worst of homecomings by getting Fenerbahce’s consolation a few minutes before the end of the game.
