The 2018/19 season has produced arguably one of the most entertaining Champions League campaigns in recent years, and the competition has been blown wide open after certain 'big name' teams such as Real Madrid and Bayern Munich have since been knocked out of the competition.

However, there are still a number of 'European Giants' left in the competition, all of which will be looking to add Europe's most illustrious footballing possession to their trophy cabinet.

So who exactly are the front-runners for European success? Here, I take a look at the bookie's favorites to lift the trophy, as the Champions League quarter-finals remain just around the corner.

At a short price of 9/4 (SkyBet), Manchester City are the favorites to win this year's Champions League, after blitzing past German opponents FC Schalke in the round of 16.

Pep Guardiola isn't a stranger to European success, already having two Champions League titles under his belt as a manager.

Manchester City are still in search of their first Champions League trophy, and there has never been a better opportunity to win the competition than this year, with European heavyweights such as PSG and Real Madrid already out of the running.

City travel to Tottenham Hotspur in the Quarter-Finals, for an all-English battle to the death.

As second favorites to triumph with European success at 10/3 (SkyBet), Juventus fans will be hoping that their side can bring the trophy back to Italy once again.

After dominating the Seria A for multiple years, the lack of European success has always been the downfall for these Italian giants.

However, Juventus look like the real deal after knocking out fellow European giants Atletico Madrid in the round of 16, thanks to a masterclass display from Cristiano Ronaldo.

The Portuguese superstar will be looking to make it six Champions League trophies for himself, as Juve travel to giant-killers Ajax for their Quarter-Final fixture.

#3 Barcelona

At an interesting price of 7/2 (SkyBet), Barcelona are currently the bookies' third choice favorites for European glory.

Currently flying high at the top of the La Liga table, Barcelona have been on excellent form both in Spain and in their European fixtures.

After brushing aside French side Lyon in the round of 16, Ernesto Valverde will certainly be expecting a tougher tie in the quarter-finals, as Barca travel to the Theatre of Dreams to face Manchester United.

Will Lionel Messi inspire his side to bring another Champions League title back to Catalonia?

#4 Liverpool

Last, on out list priced at 4/1 (SkyBet), we have English giants Liverpool, who could certainly be a good outside bet for punters around the globe.

Jurgen Klopp's men overturned an impressive Bayern Munich side in the round of 16, much to the surprise of many football fans.

Along with Manchester City, the Reds are also involved in a grueling title challenge for the Premier League. However, their next big challenge comes in the form of a quarter-final tie at home to Porto, where Liverpool are the clear favorites to win the tie.

Is Jurgen Klopp the man to finally bring European glory back to the city of Liverpool?
