It will be a busy summer at the Bayern Munich headquarters at Sabener Strasse in Munich, as there will be a number of exits.

Arjen Robben, Franck Ribery, and Rafinha are leaving the club as free agents, and Bayern is not likely to activate the buyback clause of James Rodriguez. Furthermore, there is the rumoured departure of Jerome Boateng, and Mats Hummels is also not sure of his future at the club.

Bayern has already started their work in the transfer market, having already brought in the French World Cup winning duo of Lucas Hernandez and Benjamin Pavard from Atletico Madrid and VfB Stuttgart respectively.

Those were shrewd moves by the club, as both defenders can play as centre-backs and fullbacks, which gives Bayern additional flexibility in the setup and tactics for next season.

With the exits of Robben and Ribery, there needs to be additional firepower on the wings, and the latest name to prop up is German international, Leroy Sane.

The German media outlet, Kicker, has reported that the youngster has been stalling contract renewal discussions for quite some time now. He is apparently dissatisfied with the lack of game time in Manchester and will be open to a move away from the Citizens this summer.

Pep Guardiola wants to keep the 23-year-old despite him rejecting contract renewal proposals. It is believed that Sane might himself hand over a transfer request for a move to Bavaria, which might get facilitated with limited complications as Pep is still a well known and trusted figure in the Bayern board room.

Bayern had earlier tried to sign Sane when he was at Schalke but the youngster chose to join Pep at Manchester City back then.

If everything goes right, Bayern does have another chance in signing the coveted attacker who would be a brilliant addition to the Bayern squad in this phase of their transition.

With his German national teammates like Joshua Kimmich and Leon Goretzka present in Munich, it would be an additional reason for the winger to choose Munich over other clubs.

Bayern is also linked to the likes of Federico Chiesa and Nicolas Pepe, but a Leroy Sane signing for the Bavarians would be a huge boost, as the German has improved massively under Pep and is currently one of the best young wingers in the market.
