BlazBlue: Chrono Phantasma Extend to get a PS Vita release

BlazBlue: Chrono Phantasma Extend

Arc System Works upcoming 2D anime fighting game BlazBlue: Chrono Phantasma Extend will now be releasing for the PS Vita platform. BlazBlue: Chrono Phantasma Extend is a re-release of BlazBlue: Chrono Phantasma, which launched a year ago in North America. The remake will include every DLC pack released for the original game as well as other additions

BlazBlue: Chrono Phantasma Extend was first announced last year and is the third game in the BlazBlue series, set after the events of BlazBlue: Continuum Shift. The game was originally slated to release for the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, but will now be receiving a PS Vita launch as well. Sadly, the game will not be releasing for the Xbox 360 due to limited hardware and disc space. There is also no mention of a PC release either.

The PS Vita version of BlazBlue: Chrono Phantasma Extend will be launching alongside the other versions on April 23rd in Japan, although the PS Vita release will only be available for digital download. The game will include all 19 characters from BlazBlue: Continuum Shift as well as a few new characters, which adds up to a total of 24 playable characters to choose from. Arc System Works is yet to announce a price or Western release date for the game.
