Last we heard, Creator Ed Boon raved about the various female characters who were making their way to the exciting world of Mortal Kombat X (for details click here). One of the featured female fighter was Carrie Cage who might be a animated version of famous UFC fighter Felice Herrig.
In her recent posts via Twitter and Instagram, Herrig voiced her opinion suggesting that developers of Mortal Kombat X have employed her “likeness” in designing Cassie Cage.
Herrig also released an image on her Instagram account to support her hypotheses . This UFC fighter attracted her fair share of fame when she featured in The Ultimate Fighter 20 making her way till the quarter-finals (after defeating Heather Jo Clark by unanimous decision) eventually losing to Randa Markos (by submission).
She reappeared at the finale of Ultimate Fighter that was held in Las Vegas, where she defeated Lisa Ellis by submission. Mortal Kombat X is slated for release on April 14th this year.
