Being the world’s most populous country, we would think China would face certain problems, but in reality, China has been developing further and further and experts say that it might just go ahead of the US at some point in 2016. It’s not just the economy of the country but also in gaming.
Starting from the Xbox One, experts conclude that the PS4 and PS VITA franchise in China could overtake that in the US. China already is a hub for gaming in PC. It is also rumoured that it’s 2.5 times that of US. it’s just a matter of time that even online gaming takes a shift towards the East.
There have also been predictions regarding the online gaming market to increase from US $16.1 billion in 2014 to US $24.5 billion in 2016. With the fast development and the rise in the gaming franchise, the prediction just might come true.
