Details and release date for Arma 3 Marksmen DLC announced

Bohemia Interactive has now announced the release date and the features of the much awaited DLC, “Marksmen.”

The DLC which, “aims to redefine what it means to fire a weapon in Arma 3“, will be released on April 8th. The downloadable content will add on to the existing arsenal by bringing in premium weapons, attachments and gear. Among the new weaponry are two medium machine guns, the SPMG .338 and Navid 9.3 mm, and five marksman rifles, the Cyrus 9.3 mm, MAR-10 .338, Mk-I EMR 7.62 mm, Mk14 7.62 mm and ASP-1 Kir.

The new gear and attachments include an intriguing range from AMS and Kahlia medium range scopes to new ghillie suits. The ghillie suits will be accessible to the NATO, CSAT, and AAF factions allowing players to gain different types of camouflage for the various terrain types within Arma 3.

The DLC is not the only thing that the developers are introducing to the game. Bohemia are releasing “a major platform update” that will add a new multiplayer mode “End Game”, new training courses and tweaked weapon handling. The weapon handling update comes equipped with Bipods and suppressor attachments to give players additional gear to play with. This free update will bring in objects for content creators and many new Steam achievements that players can unlock.

Gamers all over the world can purchase the DLC on 8th of April. It can be purchased via Steam for €12.99/£10.99/$15.99 or by buying the Arma 3 DLC Bundle, which comes with the Marksmen, Helicopters and Karts DLC packs, for €19.99/£16.99/$24.99.
