Dying Light 3D printable figurine's first look released

Dying Light

Videogame figurines are not cheap and most times the only people willing to shell out the cash are die-hard fans of the game. But that won’t be the case with the latest Dying Light figurine which is completely free! But that’s if you own a 3D printer.

A new Dying Light 3D printed figurine has been revealed recently and the 3D files are now up for download in case you feel like printing your own. So for those of you who do own a 3D Printer, you can go ahead and download the files here and get your very own Dying Light figurine. These files are completely free but taking into account how expensive 3D Printers are, I’m guessing there won’t be very many people printing the figurine anytime soon.

Those who do manage to get the figurine printed will have to, of course, paint it as well. Considering the fact that not many people have the skills of Techland concept artist Krzysztof Baron, there’s a chance that many will mess up the paint job. But that’s not an issue as a second figurine can always be printed in case the first one gets ruined.

On a related note, fans of Dying Light can also visit the new website Harran-City.com, which claims to be the “official” website of the main city ‘Harran’ in which the game is set. The site includes articles, blogs, visitors guides, city map, and links to city departments. More interestingly, the site also consists of a list of blogs that detail events before and after the outbreak, this includes a Quarantine announcement.

So players who are into immersive gaming can visit the site to help deepen their understanding of Harren and its people and culture before the epidemic. Techland has stated that the site was created so that "Players can explore the site and see how the city once was, [and] watch as the viral horror slowly unfolds through the eyes of the mysterious hacker. Players can also begin to piece together the viral outbreak story and other in-game elements that have yet to be revealed as they explore the site."

Dying Light is slated to release on January 27th for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC. You can check out the video showcasing the 3D printable figurine below:
