Email from Nintendo reveals release dates of upcoming games
Nintendo has revealed tons of new information on their games at last week's Nintendo Direct
Nintendo has revealed tons of new information on their games at last week's Nintendo Direct, but one of their biggest reveals was a brand new Fire Emblem game which will be out exclusively for the 3DS. Nintendo did reveal some footage of the upcoming title, but many thought the game would not be out until 2016. Though according to a marketing email from Nintendo Australia, the game may be releasing much earlier than expected.
Originally posted by a user on Reddit, the email showcases some of Nintendo’s upcoming releases for the 3DS this year with the title “Games coming in 2015 on Nintendo 3DS.” The list includes titles like The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask 3D, Xenoblade Chronicles 3D, Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate, and more interestingly Fire Emblem. Meanwhile, the release dates of Fire Emblem is still listed as “TBC”, and the other title have been revealed. So this could mean that the game is scheduled for release later this year.
Of course, this could all be a simple mistake or just an expected date and the game may not release until 2016. But considering that this is an official email from Nintendo Australia, we may just see the game being released this year, after all.
Fire Emblem is a fantasy tactical role-playing game developed by Nintendo Intelligent Systems. The game was praised for its character development.
Hopefully, we will get some more details on the next Fire Emblem game at this year’s E3. You can check out the Nintendo Direct footage below:
