EA Sports' FIFA 18 is the latest game from EA Sports in the FIFA series and is being played by football lovers across the world. With January already here, EA would be releasing the winter update of the game soon, which would include the transfers that take place in the winter. It would also include upgrades and downgrades in the ratings of the players according to their performances in the first half of the 2017/18 season.

Heere, we take a look at some players who could get a downgrade in the upcoming winter update of the game.

Alexis Sanchez

The start of the 2017-18 season has been a huge disappointment for the Arsenal star as he failed to help his nation qualify for the World Cup despite the likes of Claudio Bravo, Gary Medel, Arturo Vidal and Eduardo Vargas supporting him in the team.

Even with his club, he hasn't performed up to the mark and has also entered the last six months of his contract. Sacnhez's reported willingness to go to a bigger club is being cited by the fans as a possible reason of the under-performance.

He has made about 20 appearances for the club this season, playing about 1600 minutes but has managed only 7 goals and 3 assists, which is quite less according to his standard. It's not just the goal tally, his performances have also gone down this season.

Mkhitaryan started the 2017-18 season with a bang, but soon withered into the background as players like Martial and Lingard took the centre-stage with their breathtaking goals. Soon, Mkhitaryan found himself on the bench and then out of the team.

Mkhitaryan was signed by Mourinho before the start of last season and easily took 3-4 months to settle in England and start giving his best performances. That form lasted for almost a year and now the Armenian is fading away again.

In a total of 22 appearances, he has only managed to s two goals and six assists is the return from the Manchester United man, most of those assists coming in August or September.

The Italian has been part of an AC Milan defence that has conceded 27 goals in 20 matches, 2 more than their team have scored over the course of this season.

He moved to AC Milan from Juventus after having a fight with Dani Alves at the end of last season with the Brazilian going to Paris instead. Since changing teams, he has lost that commanding power over the defence after losing the able support of his former teammates Georgio Chiellini, Andrea Barzagli and Gianluigi Buffon.

He has also been sent off this season against Genoa for an elbow in the face of Aleandro Rosi in a 0-0 draw between both the teams.

West Ham United paid more than 16 million euros for Hernandez to Bayer Leverkusen for their Mexican star striker, who was prolific for two continuous seasons in the Bundesliga.

He has played approximately 1225 minutes of English domestic football in 21 appearances and scored only 4 goals throughout his stay at the club, which saw Slaven Bilic, the manager, who signed him, getting the sack for poor performances from the team.

The former Manchester United striker is a tried and tested product in the English League and can't justify his poor performances in any way.

Cristiano Ronaldo won the Balon d'Or for the fifth time after winning the Champions League and the La Liga in the last season. But this season, he has been off colour with Real Madrid fourth in the league and they even came second in their Champions League group behind Spurs.

In 13 La Liga appearances, he has scored only 4 goals, failing to live up to the expectations of the Real Madrid fans. In the Champions League though, he has scored 9 goals in 6 matches with the majority of those coming against the eliminated teams.
