Watch: Bizarre FIFA 18 glitch allows you to score even when the game is paused

Recently FIFA 18 has been making the news for all sorts of weird reasons. The users have been sharing their experiences online, and there are plenty of concerns that will crack you up with amusement. A lot of expenditure goes into creating FIFA games, and considering the graphics and details, apart from the game-play and all the other complexities that the EA team looks after, we understand and even approve it.

The match was being played between Barcelona and Leicester City, when in the 4th minute, a shot is attempted towards the goal, which gets deflected by a defender and goes out for a corner kick. The corner kick taker lobs the ball in the box, and before the ball would land, the user paused the game.

On resuming, he found out to his surprise, that despite the game being paused, a Barcelona player had headed the ball into the net. It's definitely amusing, but more than that, it's confusing. There have been certain glitches before also in the game, but this glitch can be considered the worst of all, as it can easily affect the final score-line.

The glitch can be mistaken for being a result of strong (AI) artificial intelligence, but it isn't so. While some users speculate that it could have been due to a server delay between the users who were playing the online match, it still leaves one dumbfounded.
