What's the story?
While FIFA fans have been gearing up for the much-awaited launch of the FIFA 2018 edition on 29th September, an additional piece of good news is in store for enthusiasts with the possible release date of the demo game now revealed.
According to a report in the Express, a new listing has suggested that the FIFA 18 demo for PS4 and XBox One has been set to release around two weeks prior to the official release of the game next month.

In addition to the much-hyped release of the FIFA 18 demo and the official game itself, Pro Evolution Soccer (PES) fans are in for some excitement as well, with Konami releasing the the PES 2018 demo on 30th August, before its official launch on September 14th.
The heart of the matter
Despite reports suggesting a confirmed release date for the demo, EA Sports is yet to make an official announcement on the same. If reports are to be believed then the possible demo release date is 15th September, a couple of weeks before the official release of the game itself. This brings good news for all those who did not have access to the FIFA 2018 beta codes that were released by EA Sports earlier this month.
As per reports, the demo game will approximately be 7.3 GB in size, a size that would mean an expected download time of around one to two hours at least.
The suggested line up of the teams include the likes of Manchester United, Manchester City, Chelsea, LA Galaxy, Real Madrid, Juventus, Bayern Munich, Atletico Madrid, PSG and Toronto FC. In all probability, one would also be able to play the first part of the journey; The Hunter Returns.
According to a report on dreamteamfc.com, the best player in the demo will be the FIFA 2018 cover player, Cristiano Ronaldo. Additionally, the previous FIFA 17 was the first game in its series to be powered by Frostbite, replacing Ignite. FIFA 18, therefore, will see a great boost in graphics, especially in terms of player and facial animations. There will also be a few subtle improvisations while running on the Frostbite 4 engine.

With a possible demo release rumour that has not yet officially been announced by EA Sports, it is most likely that the demo will be released a week or two before the full version rolls out. Therefore, fans can positively look forward to an insight into what FIFA 2018 holds for them.
