What's the story?

FIFA 18 has become famous, or should we say it's become rather 'infamous when it comes to controversies regarding player ratings and player celebrations.

Manchester United midfielder Juan Mata came into the limelight this time when a FIFA 18 user posted a video on Twitter, in which Mata was seen doing a funny dance move as he celebrated alongside his team-mate and central midfielder Paul Pogba.

In case you didn't know..

Mata joined Manchester United in 2014, when the then-manager of Chelsea, Jose Mourinho couldn't find the perfect spot for him to play. The 29-year-old Spaniard, who found himself in the midst of suspicion and doubt at Old Trafford, went through a rough patch to ultimately prove his worth. After playing under three different manager, he solidified his position at the much-revered English club and built quite a rapport with the Red Devil fans.

In the clip, Mata was seen celebrating alongside his French teammate Paul Pogba. Pogba is currently out as he had injured his hamstring previously.

Heart of the story

When a FIFA 18 user posted a clip on Twitter of Mata celebrating with Pogba, in what seemed to be a funny dance-cum-celebration, Mata didn't seem to be too proud. When the FIFA 18 user posted the clip on Twitter, he told the midfielder that he didn't think Mata to be a 'dabber'.

Obviously, the user was just having a fun time and thought that tagging Mata in the post would be the right thing to do. On receiving the post, Mata didn't hold back and replied to the tweet with a smart reply. Have a look at Mata's witty tweet yourself.

Juan Mata also seemed to be amused and surprised with the tweet.

The dance which the Spaniard was seen doing, is called a 'dab', and it is a famous pop-culture dance move, which is why the clip became viral in the first place.

What's next?

Mata has been in good shape, and he has started in six out of seven matches of the Premier League season. He was also the one to open the scoring in the 4-0 win against Crystal Palace, last weekend.

On opening the scoring line, Mata told later to the press that he has been feeling good lately, and will be on his mission to reach double digits again this season.
