What's the story?

Arsenal broke the bank today to acquire the services of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang from Borussia Dortmund in a move estimated to be in the region of £56million, and his arrival at the Emirates Stadium will have Gunners' fans excited to say the very least.

FUT fans can rejoice as well if they have the Gabon International in their side because Aubameyang's move to North London now officially makes him the fastest player in the Premier League according to the game. With blistering pace at 96, the 28-year-old will hope to leave dust in his wake as he starts life in an Arsenal shirt.

In case you didn't know...

Aubameyang has been a regular goalscorer for Borussia Dortmund and is currently rated very highly in FIFA 18 at 88 overall. The striker has been brought in by Arsene Wenger following reports of Olivier Giroud making a move away from the club.

The heart of the matter

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger loves a striker with pace through the middle as can be seen with previous appointments of Theo Walcott and Alexis Sanchez in that position, both of whom were not forwards by any stretch of the imagination. With a naturally quick striker in Aubameyang, the French manager may have exactly what he needs.

FUT fans will also look to exploit the pace attribute of the former Dortmund player at Arsenal with his new special card ready to be released soon enough.

What's next?

Aubameyang will reunite with former teammate Henrikh Mkhitaryan at Arsenal and will hope to link with Hector Bellerin, who is the third fastest player in FIFA 18 and formerly the fastest at Arsenal.

Author's take

The signing of Aubameyang will take the London club to the next level and FIFA 18 should be ready to have an upgrade or two in the works for this talented Gabonese star.
