What's the story?
Real Madrid superstar Toni Kroos became the latest player to ask EA Sports for an improved rating for his virtual self in the newly released version of their popular video-game series, FIFA 18.
The German is one of the highest rated players in the game and has an overall rating of 90 but he believes that there is still room for improvement in terms of his pace attribute.
In case you didn't know
Despite being one of the most sought-after players in world football, Kroos' pace attribute in the game is at a mere 50 - a rating that has utterly disappointed the player.
The heart of the matter
In fact, he was so unhappy with the rating by EA Sports that he requested them for a boost via Twitter.
The tweet garnered a lot of attention over various social media platforms and fans from all over the world pitched in their opinions. In stark contrast to EA Sports' weak pace rating for the player, FIFA's arch-rivals Pro Evolution Soccer (popularly known as PES) rated the same attribute at a massive 72 which makes him an even better threat while going forward.
A few of the Los Blancos' faithful also believed that the relatively low pace rating was harsh on their player and made their opinions clear on Twitter.
What's next?
This is not the first time that a player has requested EA Sports for better ratings with Chelsea forward Michy Batshuayi and Everton's Yannick Bolasie already expressing their disappointments this season.
However, EA Sports responded actively to the questions raised by these players and Batshuayi was granted his wish while Bolasie was approved by EA for the ability to pull off the El Tornado skill move on FIFA 18 as per his request on Twitter.

We genuinely hope that Kroos receives the upgrade he wants and a victory in their Club World Cup final against Gremio tonight could further underline his credentials for the same.
