Who’s Kudo Tsunoda? Well, till date the man was the creative director for Microsoft Kinect and a game developer of repute. Now we’ll be seeing him as more of a leader. Tsunoda has been elevated to the position of the leader of a a number of Microsoft’s first party studios. Microsoft has announced:
“While the Halo, Gears of War, Forza and Minecraft franchises will continue to report to Phil Spencer, Kudo will lead the vision and experience development of our other Microsoft Studios portfolio investments in the United States, Europe, and across our Global Publishing team.”
While continuing to work on Microsoft’s upcoming brainchild HoloLens, Tsunoda will also be leading other Xbox teams, such as Rare, Lionhead, and others.
