Techland’s zombie survival horror title Dying Light is finally out for the Xbox One, PS 4, and PC platforms. Ever since its launch last month, fans have been curious as to which version of the game looks best. So to answer that, PC Games.de has released a comparison video showcasing the games graphics on each platform.
The two minute video compares all three versions of the games with each other, though the view is sort of limited as the character is still in most of the footage. Despite this, the video does give a pretty decent idea of what the game looks like on each platform.
The good news is that the game looks nearly identical in each platform, with very minor differences in graphics. So all that extra time Techland took to develop the game has paid off, as it seems to have been optimized pretty well for every platform. The PC version of the title does look a bit more advanced, though the difference isn’t that major and it’s nothing the average gamer would notice. So unless you have a keen eye for details and graphics, it’s not too likely to be a bother, especially since this does not affect the gameplay.
Dying Light is a survival horror title that has been in development since early 2012. The game pits players in the role of an undercover operative who has been sent to infiltrate the quarantined city of Harran. It also boasts of unique features like an open-world map and dynamic day and night cycle. Dying Light was originally slated to release in 2014, but was delayed to 2015 due to development issues.
