Last year at E3 Nintendo had revealed a very interesting game for Wii U titled Mario Maker. An exception to the typical 2D or even 3D platformer that allows players to take control of Mario in a series of creative worlds. Nintendo has extended the fun for players in Mario Maker by giving them a chance to design each level of the game. The game was supposed to arrive in the first half of 2015 but as confirmed by October’s earnings report the release of the game has been delayed.
According to Nintendo World Report as listed under Nintendo’s earnings release PDF Nintendo has always shown off their upcoming schedule for games across the Europe, US and of course Japan. Mario Maker has been listed in this report as a casual “2015” without any specifics of date. This could simply an error or the lack of editing an update but in the past we have seen this as a good indication that a game has silently been pushed back. This doesn’t come as a surprise since Nintendo has its hands full with many upcmoing release’s as Nintendo does have a number of games for the Wii U coming in the first half of 2015 with Kirby and the Rainbow Curse, Mario Party 10, Splatoon, and Yoshi’s Woolly World.
