State of Decay contracters hide "ridiculous amounts of genitalia" in games graphics

State of Decay: Year One Survival Eiditon will be out later this year

Some of the contractors for State of Decay seem to have been major practical jokers who got away with hiding a “ridiculous amounts of genitalia” in the games graphics. Developers Undead Labs found a ton of hidden male genitalia in the game’s art. This was found while upgrading the textures for their upcoming State of Decay: Year-One Survival Edition.

Undead Labs senior designer, Geoffrey Card, has told XBLA Fans that some of their contractors have “worked a ridiculous amount of genitalia into the background.” These were not visible at first but after due to the games low resolution and lower-quality textures on the Xbox 360. It was only after the developers turned up the quality for the remastered Xbox One version did they notice an obscene amounts of genitalia hidden in the games graphics.

A Microsoft representative then stated the following:

“Undead Labs was not aware of the textures in question until they began the process of exporting textures for State of Decay: Year-One Survival Edition, and they are not visible in the original edition of State of Decay. Undead Labs is no longer working with the contractor in question, and this material will not be present in State of Decay: Year-One Survival Edition.”

Hopefully these will be removed from the game before its release, though I am pretty sure a smart modder out there is going to try his level best to find some of the hidden images.

State of Decay: Year-One Survival Edition is slated to release later this year for the PC and Xbox One. You can check out the pre-order bonuses here.
