The Premier League has produced more than its fair share of legends since its inception in the early 90s and that tradition has been continued in FIFA gaming over the years. The sheer output of talented players from the league has been quite astounding and it is hence no surprise that plenty of Premier League borne talent has for long ruled the roost in EA Sports' annual franchises.
Lately, however, the ratings pile of FIFA continues to be led by Spanish league superstars such as Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo. The duo has sparred at the top for a while now, and FIFA 18 is no different with a 94-rated Ronaldo pipping 93-rated Messi to the numero uno position.
With Neymar and Suarez a close third and fourth respectively, it begs the question. How exactly did Premier League players fare this year? As it turns out, not too well if you're one of the millions who tune in every weekend to watch the most popular football league in the world. But as is always the case, a few players managed to break into the good books of FIFA 18 and made it big in ratings. Here are ten of the very best from the Premier League in FIFA 18:

Chelsea's N'Golo Kante joins the list powered by his 84 physicality and 81 pace. His 81 defending is especially impressive as he plays in a midfield role. His solidity proved vital for the Blues last season and FIFA 18 promises big things for the talented Frenchman.
#9 Mesut Ozil - 88
Ozil's ability to pick out the right pass is second to none and his dribbling stats of 86 showcase his capability of being an absolute magician on the pitch. The Gunners will be hoping that the German can fire on all cylinders this season and his FIFA 18 numbers make sure that the casual gamer has a trusted soldier in this Premier League star.
#8 Zlatan Ibrahimovic - 88
The mercurial Swede known as Zlatan Ibrahimovic is rated 88 in FIFA 18 which seems almost unbelievable for a man nearing the end of his career. Captain for a reason, the goalie's incredible player card proves that EA Sports has immense faith in him as they definitely should.
#6 Thibaut Courtois - 89
Thibaut Courtois has earned himself a useful reputation in goal for being a fantastic handler and having cat-like reflexes. That has been proven now more than ever with his FIFA 18 player card looking nothing short of spectacular. His positioning and diving have been adequately represented too, making for some very noteworthy numbers.
#5 Sergio Aguero - 89
Sergio Aguero's relative ease in transition to English football makes him part of a select few players to enjoy a breezy start to life in England. Powered by his many goals, Man City have become a potent threat up front and his FIFA 18 rating proves just that. His 88 shooting and 87 pace are among the best, showing just how prolific he can be in front of goal. A Premier League natural by all means.
#4 Kevin De Bruyne - 89
Belgian players have made it big recently and De Bruyne has been at the heart of that revolution. Man City's midfield maestro at times, his 88 passing and 85 dribbling stats seem equally impressive and showcase his skills on an International level. Much is expected from the former Chelsea man this season and if his FIFA 18 rating is anything to go by, the signs look ominous for another scintillating Premier League season.

#1 Eden Hazard - 90
Topping the charts from England in FIFA 18 is Chelsea's gift of god Eden Hazard. The Belgian was the major reason that the London club won the league last season and his 90 pace and 92 dribbling put him in a league of his own. There may be a considerable distance for him to go in order to be called a true football great but Hazard is surely on the road to superstardom and that path hit full speed this year in FIFA 18.
