Ubisoft reveals official release date and cinematic trailer for Rainbow Six Siege

Rainbow Six Siege will be releasing this October

Ubisoft’s highly anticipated upcoming first-person shooter, Rainbow Six Siege, finally has a release date. The company has announced that the game will be releasing on October 13th this year, which is around the same the time as their Assassin’s Creed Syndicate release.

Rainbow Six Siege is a strategic team-based fps with destructible maps. The game pits players against each other and gives them the option of choosing from twenty different operators. Players can engage in building barricades, or destroying them with weapons, all of which can drastically affect the outcome of the mission.

"Players will engage in sieges, a new style of assault where enemies have the means to transform their environments into modern strongholds while Rainbow Six teams lead the assault to breach the enemy position."

Besides this announcement, Ubisoft has also released a cinematic trailer for the game to showcase their reveal. The trailer showcases a few of the games operators and their abilities with a few slow motion shots to show off the games destructible environment. You can check the trailer out below:
