Sport is a very important part of campus life at Xavier Institute of Management, Bhubaneswar (XIMB) which boasts of an excellent infrastructure for all kinds of sports. The popularity of sport on the campus is such that each student plays at least one game on a regular basis. Therefore, Athlos, the annual sports fest of the college, is one of the most awaited events on the XIMB calendar.
In its sixth edition, Athlos 2014 is scheduled to be held from 10th to 12th October 2014. With the promise of being bigger, better and tougher, Athlos 6.0 will see participation from top B schools of the country like XLRI-Jamshedpur, IIM-Calcutta and VGSOM-IIT Kharagpur. Apart from the home team of XIMB, a team representing the alumni of XIMB also participates every year, which provides a unique flavour to the event.
During Athlos 2014, sports events will be conducted in the following categories:

- Volleyball (M and W)
- Table Tennis (M and W)
- Badminton (M and W)
- Throwball (W)
- Lawn tennis (M and W)
- Chess
- Track and Field - 100m, long jump, triple jump, shot-put

A sports quiz is also on the cards. The wide range of events at Athlos makes it one of the biggest B-School sports fests in India.
