India Vs Pakistan Football Series in England

The Indian National Football Team will be playing a three-match series against Pakistan in England, starting August 25. The Team is scheduled to play three matches in Manchester, Coventry and London.

The tour, which has been dubbed as ‘Clash of the Titans – India-Pakistan UK tour,’ ends on September 11.

Mr. Praful Patel, the President of the All India Football Federation expressed his delight in playing a series against Pakistan. “Playing Pakistan is always special. It’s a positive sign that we will play a bilateral football series against Pakistan. I’m sure all sporting fans are eagerly looking forward to it,” he said.

This is the first-time ever that India would be playing a three-match series against Pakistan in a neutral venue. The last time the two Nations were involved in a three-match series was in 2005 in Pakistan.

The tour is being organised by TouchSky Sports, a FIFA and UEFA Licensed Match and Player Agency. Mr. Ahmer Kunwar of TSS said: It gives me immense pleasure in organising this epoch-making tour. The tour would provide the Indian and Pakistani Nationals based in England to witness their native teams in action at the ‘Home of Football,’ England.”
