India endured more disappointment after the exit of the Indian men and women archers’ earlier in the day as Swaran Singh crashed out of the Men’s singles sculls quarter-final on Day 3 of the Olympics.
Singh finished 4th with a time of 7 min 11 secs. He needed to qualify amongst the top 3 to qualify for the semi-finals.
He will now compete with other losing quarter-finalists to determine his final ranking ( upwards of 13th place ).
