The International Cricket Council(ICC) has withdrawn its senior elite panel umpire, Asad Rauf from officiating at the upcoming Champions trophy in England and Wales, following reports in the media that stated that he was being investigated by the Mumbai police.

2. Four-goal comeback lifts Man City over Chelsea

Micah Richards scored in the 90th minute to complete a stunning comeback from a three-goal deficit and give Manchester City a 4-3 victory over Chelsea in an exhibition thriller.

3. Wolfsburg stun holders Lyon

German club Wolfsburg ended Lyon’s two-year reign as women’s Champions League holders with a shock 1-0 win over the French side in Thursday’s final at Stamford Bridge.

Italian Vincenzo Nibali took a giant step towards his maiden Giro d’Italia triumph by smashing his rivals on his way to winning a rain-soaked 18th stage uphill time trial from Mori to Polsa on Thursday.
