The Atlanta Open is a professional tennis tournament which is a part of the ATP World Tour as well as the US Open Series.
The tournament is the first one in the US Open Series and is currently sponsored by BB&T.
The event used to take place at Indianapolis from 1988 but was shifted to Atlanta in 2010.

The 2018 edition of the tournament will be hosted by the Atlantic Station in Atlanta, United States.
The 2018 Atlanta Open will take place between 23rd and 29th July 2018. It is the 31st edition of the tournament, with a total prize money of $668,460.
The men’s singles event of the 2017 Atlanta Open was won by second seed home boy John Isner. Isner beat fellow American Ryan Harrison by straight sets 7-6(8-6) and 7-6(9-7).
The Bryan brothers took home the men’s doubles title at the tournament while Mike and Bob Bryan beat the Dutch-New Zealand pairing of Wesley Koolhof and Artem Sitak 6-3 and 6-4.
Seedings for 2018 edition
Defending champion and 2018 Wimbledon semi-finalist John Isner is the top seed for the men’s singles event at the 2018 Atlanta Open. He is followed by another American Jack Sock as second seed. Australian Nick Kyrgios who won the tournament back in 2016, is the third seed.
The top seed for the men’s doubles event is the pairing of Divij Sharan of India and Artem Sitak of New Zealand. Sitak took home the title with Koolhof twelve months back. The American pair Ryan Harrison and Rajeev Ram are the second seed.
The winner of the singles title of the 2018 Atlanta Open will take home $119,250. The doubles winners will get $36,230.
