Intercontinental cup schedule, the event begins on 7th of July, where the hosts India take on Tajikistan at TransStadia Arena, Ahmedabad. Syria take on North Korea in the second game on 8th of July at the same venue. Tajikistan play their second game against Syria on 10th of July and last group game against North Korea on 15th of July.
Defending champions, India will take on North Korea in the second group stage game on 13th of July and then play their final group game against Syria on 16th of July. Top two teams after the group stage, will qualify for the 2019 Intercontinental Cup Final on 19th of July. India will look to continue their good form and try to retain the Hero Intercontinental Cup.
In the last edition, India, Kenya, New Zealand and Chinese Taipei were involved. Each team had to play 3 games in the group stage and top two teams took part in the final, India and Kenya fought hard in the final but Sunil Chhetri's 2 goals helped India to lift the Intercontinental Cup 2018
