WATCH: Reed goes from striking the pin to chipping in
Patrick Reed's luck was out when his approach shot struck the flag during his final round at The Northern Trust but the Masters champion proved how quickly fortunes can change.
The American's second shot at the third hole rattled the pin and rolled into a greenside bunker, seemingly putting paid to his chances of picking up a first birdie of the day in New Jersey.
Reed must have been cursing his misfortune, but he was soon pumping fists with his caddie after chipping in.
The 28-year-old Texan was in need of more than a little luck on the final day of the FedEx Cup play-off event, having teed off on Sunday 10 shots adrift of leader Bryson DeChambeau.
