The New York Giants have been in the headlines as of late and it isn't for very good reasons. Eli Manning was benched in favor of Geno Smith last week. It ended Eli Manning's 210 consecutive games started streak.
Head coach Ben Mcadoo and general manager Jerry Reese were relieved of their duties yesterday by co-owner John Mara. The question now is will wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. be with the New York Giants long term?
Beckham Jr. has one more year remaining on his rookie contract. He is one of the most electrifying receivers in the game. Beckham Jr. has 313 catches for 4,424 yards receiving and 38 touchdowns in his career. His season was cut short this year due to an ankle injury. Beckham Jr. had 25 catches for 302 yards and three touchdowns.
He has been known for his in game antics. Also, does Beckham Jr. want to play with the Giants even if Eli Manning leaves after this season? If Beckham Jr. does not want to stay with them long term, the Giants should trade him to the San Francisco 49ers this off season for this year's first round pick and fourth round pick.

The New York Giants currently have the second pick in the NFL Draft and the San Francisco 49ers would currently have the number three pick in the NFL Draft. If the Giants were to make the trade, they would have the two and three picks. New York would be able to draft most likely quarterback Sam Darnold (USC) and running back Saquon Barkley (Penn St.).
This would also work for the San Francisco 49ers because this would give quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo a top wide receiver and Beckham is only 25 years old.
The Giants would still have Sterling Shepard and Evan Engram and they could always draft another receiver in the later rounds.
Not only that I think the Giants should maybe consider trading Beckham Jr., but they should consider trading their own pick for Cleveland's top two first round picks. Remember it's the Browns after all and they probably wouldn't mind trading two first rounders for a franchise quarterback like Josh Rosen.
With that other pick, the Giants could also draft an offensive lineman like offensive tackle Orlando Brown (Oklahoma). Cleveland currently owns the number one pick and the number seven pick from the Houston Texans.
