Texans' Watt throws out first pitch while on crutches
J.J. Watt was carted out to the mound at Minute Maid Park on Friday after suffering a broken leg on October 8.
Not even a broken leg could stop Houston Texans star J.J. Watt from throwing out the first pitch before game three of the MLB World Series.
Watt – one of the most popular people in Houston – was carted out to the mound at Minute Maid Park on Friday after suffering a broken leg on October 8.
Accompanied by his soccer player girlfriend Kealia Ohai of the Houston Dash, Watt threw a pitch from the base of the mound that missed the plate, but nobody really cared as the Astros look to take a 2-1 lead over the Los Angeles Dodgers.
Watt raised more than $37million to benefit victims of Hurricane Harvey in the Houston area.
