The Dump is a large dump truck that is used at construction or mining sites in GTA 5. It has a yellow colored body with huge wheels. The driver's cabin is on the front left side of the truck which is accessed by the player by jumping up on the single step provided and then climbing up to the door. The rear portion used to store and transport items is seen filled with brown particles which are most likely mud and stones. There are railings and a fire extinguisher seen next to the driver’s cabin which can possibly accommodate two workers standing. The front grille has horizontal vent like panels under which are two small steps that lead to ladders placed on either side of the grille. The tires have huge treads making the vehicle able to survive the offroad conditions it is in, most of the time.
The Dump is one of the slowest vehicles in GTA V. It is a heavy vehicle which makes it easy for the Dump to push around or crush other vehicles. However, the size and weight of the truck does not define its durability. The Dump explodes very quickly and the fuel tanks are also very vulnerable. While crushing other vehicles, if they explode under the Dump, there is a high chance the Dump will explode as well. The Dump can be lifted by the Cargobob’s hook despite its weight and size. The tires on this vehicle can explode or deflate which then makes it completely useless as it won’t move with ease.
This vehicle cannot be modified.
Caida Libre - A Dump passes a dirt path that leads to Zancudo Avenue during the mission as part of the script.
Can be found at the Redwood Lights Track.
Found at Davis Quartz located east of Sandy Shores
Sometimes seen driving on desert roads near Sandy Shores.
Sometimes spawns at the construction site in Downtown Los Santos.
Sometimes two Dumps spawn next to the building with the large "Cypress" sign in Cypress Flats on Hanger Way.
Although the Dump is claimed by game files and the website to be manufactured by HVY, there are several Brute badges on the front and around the tipper.
The Dump, along with the Dock Handler, are the first vehicles in the HD Universe to feature suicide doors.
The word Dump is a reference to the slang term which means defecating.
