Senior national hockey camp in Bangalore from Thursday

New Delhi – The senior men’s national hockey camp for the FIH World League Round 3 (Semi-Final) at Rotterdam, in the Netherlands, June 13-23, will be held at the Netaji Subhas Southern Centre (NSSC), Bangalore from Thursday. The camp will continue till June 4.

The Indian men’s hockey team performed well in their recently concluded preparatory tour to the Netherlands where they defeated the national side twice and also played five games against top clubs of country.

India qualified for the FIH World League Round 3 (Semi-Final) by winning all the matches of the Round 2 tournament held at Major Dhyan Chand National Stadium here in February.

The FIH World League Round 3 (Semi-Final) is a qualification tournament for the FIH Men’s World Cup 2014 to be held at The Hague, Netherlands.
