Bray Wyatt could become a major player for IMPACT Wrestling if he is to sign.

IMPACT Wrestling has made a habit of capitalizing on WWE releases as of late. No release in 2021 came as more of a shock than that of Bray Wyatt. The former WWE Universal Champion was one of the company's main event players and merchandise movers. This has led many to speculate on where he will land next.

Dave Meltzer reported that many in the industry believe Wyatt will sign with AEW in the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter. However, Meltzer later said on the Sunday Night's Main Event podcast that IMPACT Wrestling will likely make a move to sign Bray Wyatt when his non-compete clause is up.

This opens the door for dream matches with the best of their roster.

With the former Wyatt Family leader as one of the biggest free agents in the wrestling business today, he will be sought after by every promotion. In this article, let's take a look at the five dream matches for Bray Wyatt in IMPACT Wrestling.

#5 Black Taurus - IMPACT Wrestling

Black Taurus debuted in IMPACT Wrestling this year and quickly aligned himself with Rosemary and Crazzy Steve of Decay. The AAA export has made a name for himself in both the tag team and X-Division.

Whether teaming with Steve or battling the likes of Josh Alexander for the X-Division Championship, Taurus has shown himself to be a force to be reckoned with.

Due to Bray Wyatt's past in the Wyatt Family, he would be a perfect foil for Decay. This stable has shown that they can dabble on the dark side just as much as Wyatt has. Black Taurus makes an ideal adversary for Wyatt because he is a big man with a surprising amount of agility.

Not many stars in IMPACT Wrestling can match Bray Wyatt in a size and speed department like Taurus.

Although Bray has become better known for his out-of-the-ring exploits, his athleticism shocks many opponents. One of Wyatt's most famous character iterations is The Fiend. If he can find an off-shoot of that persona, Bray can find a place in himself that can handle any mind games that Decay has planned for him.

From a character or in-ring aspect, Black Taurus brings interesting options.

#4 Moose - IMPACT Wrestling

Moose has been one of the top stars in IMPACT Wrestling for a number of years now. The former NFL player has made the most of every opportunity available to him. He brought back the TNA Heavyweight Championship to IMPACT and has defeated legends of the company like Ken Shamrock and EC3.

Over the past few months, he has gone toe-to-toe with Kenny Omega and Rich Swann as well.

Whenever a new competitor joins IMPACT Wrestling, Moose should be at the top of the list of potential challengers. The self-proclaimed Wrestling God has a myriad of skills whether it be his strength, athleticism or spectacular agility. The same qualities can be attributed to Bray Wyatt.

Bray Wyatt vs. Moose is another big man matchup that holds great potential. There aren't many stars in IMPACT Wrestling that can handle Wyatt's commanding size, but Moose could definitely match up well with the former WWE Champion has to offer in the ring.

This would be nothing short of a hoss battle. As of late, Moose has had to compete in hard-hitting encounters against the likes of Tomohiro Ishii at NJPW Resurgence. Not only could these two men battle inside the squared circle, but they both have experience in cinematic matches.

Moose defeated EC3 in that environment, so whatever the format Wyatt will have his hands full with the big man.

#3 Josh Alexander - IMPACT Wrestling

No other IMPACT Wrestling star has seen their stock rise quite like the X-Division Champion Josh Alexander. The Canadian has seen nothing but success since arriving at the promotion. He was one half of the North with Ethan Page, who made history as the longest reigning IMPACT Wrestling Tag Team Champions for the company.

When Ethan Page left the promotion, many fans and Alexander himself believed that he would have to wait on the bench for an opportunity. However, the Walking Weapon wasted no time and defeated Ace Austin and TJP in a three way match to win the X-Division Championship at Rebellion.

This is yet another IMPACT Wrestling competitor who has a versatile set of skills that match up very well with Bray Wyatt. Josh Alexander has strength in spades and can deliver his signature suplexes on opponents of any size.

He also possesses speed and athleticism that has allowed him to keep up with the smaller and faster opposition in the X-Division.

Bray Wyatt will have to use more than his ability in the ring to overcome what Josh Alexander can bring. The former Wyatt Family leader is a master of mind games and that is something that the current X-Division Champion might not be ready for.

Getting in the Walking Weapon's head will be challenging, but it's not out of the realm of possibility for Wyatt. This is a compelling encounter waiting to happen.

#2 Eric Young - IMPACT Wrestling

As previously mentioned, IMPACT Wrestling have really freshened up their roster by taking advantage of the massive amount of releases WWE has made since April of 2020.

One of the most successful former WWE superstars has to be Eric Young. He came into the main event on his return at Slammiversary 2020 and then won the IMPACT Wrestling World Championship a few months later.

His Violent By Design stable has taken IMPACT Wrestling by storm. With Joe Doering, Deaner and Rhyno by his side, they have run roughshod over the rest of the roster. They used the Freebird Rule to win the IMPACT Wrestling Tag Team Championships.

The cult-like mentality of the group resembles Young's WWE faction, Sanity, as well as the stable Bray Wyatt is best known for.

There are distinct similarities between VBD and the Wyatt Family. The art of intimidation, the following of a manipulative leader and violence towards other members are all things Wyatt would be very familiar with.

Bray Wyatt and Eric Young are both charismatic leaders and talkers who would develop an undeniably captivating feud between the two.

Despite being in the WWE at the same time, Wyatt and Young never crossed paths. Sanity and the Wyatt Family would have done some damage against one another, so IMPACT Wrestling has a chance to give an encounter that the biggest promotion ever produced.

If Bray Wyatt decides to put together a Kult of Windham for the company, things will be even more intriguing for sure.

#1 Sami Callihan - IMPACT Wrestling

Similar to Eric Young, Sami Callihan is known for being a leader of men in IMPACT Wrestling. He was in charge of the oVe stable for years in the company before all the members went their separate ways.

Following the breakup of that faction, Callihan developed an association with Ken Shamrock, which saw the IMPACT Wrestling Hall of Famer go to the dark side.

Even without the individuals behind him, Sami Callihan has been the most dastardly heel of the company. His mix of unmitigated violence and compelling storytelling has earned him the moniker of "The Draw." He has also seen great heights of success being a former IMPACT Wrestling World Champion.

Despite his devious ways, Sami Callihan has now become a fan favorite who the supporters of IMPACT Wrestling have rallied behind in his battles against Kenny Omega over the past few months.

Omega and Callihan put on one of the best matches of the year for the promotion in a No Disqualification main event at Slammiversary 2021.

With his bid for the IMPACT Wrestling World Championship put on hold for the time being, Callihan has seemingly looked to form a bond with his arch nemesis Eddie Edwards, but this opens the door for new challenges for "The Draw." That could come in the form of Bray Wyatt.

Both Wyatt and Callihan have been known for their evil ways of playing mind games on their opponents. It would be a battle of similar mentalities to the business. Wyatt can bring out a new side of Sami and allow him to further establish himself as a babyface being against a well polished heel.

Callihan can bring out the next evolution for Wyatt and get his footing in a new company.

The battle between Bray Wyatt and Sami Callihan has the potential to be physically intense and an absolute brawl. Wyatt has had his fair share of hard-hitting affairs in WWE, but nothing can prepare him for the depths of violence that Sami Callihan will bring to him in IMPACT Wrestling.

There is plenty to offer in this feud between these two men, with both being exceptional promos and knowing how to create an aura around their rivalries that only builds anticipation. For all these reasons, Sami Callihan has to be considered the biggest dream match for Bray Wyatt in IMPACT Wrestling.
