The latest episode of IMPACT Wrestling was yet another breezy watch with logical storyline developments, and solid wrestling peppered all across the show. AEW's Matt Hardy and Private Party appeared on this week's episode by taking on Chris Sabin and a returning James Storm in the main event of the night.

On the other hand, IMPACT World Champion Rich Swann and TNA World Champion Moose had a face-off that ended with Swann getting the upper hand. While no announcement has been made yet, a match between the two seems imminent in the coming weeks on IMPACT Wrestling.

A new challenger seemingly emerged for the IMPACT Knockout Tag Team Championships, while Rhino was brutalized by Eric Young after the opening match of the night.

That said, let's discuss the major points that have gotten the IMPACT fans buzzing. Do share your thoughts in the comments section below.

#1 Matt Hardy and Private Party defeat Chris Sabin and a returning James Storm in the main event of IMPACT Wrestling

On this week's IMPACT Wrestling, Good Brothers made their way to the ring and boasted about their win at Hard to Kill. Soon enough, Chris Sabin came out and said The Motor City Machine Guns deserve a shot at the IMPACT Tag Team Championships. When Good Brothers said he doesn't even his partner by his side, Sabin introduced a returning James Storm as his partner.

The two entered the ring, with Storm putting over Sabin as a much bigger star than him. However, Matt Hardy's music hit, and he came out with Private Party. Hardy made a case for Private Party to get a title shot and also said he and his brother, Jeff Hardy, never lost the titles but were stripped of them by the IMPACT management. A #1 Contender bout was booked with Private Party taking on Chris Sabin and James Strom in the main event of IMPACT Wrestling.

As expected, the main event match was a terrific contest between the two tandems, with a surprising outcome. The highly-experienced duo of Storm and Sabin put over the relatively new Private Party in a passing-of-the-torch moment. Good Brothers came out, and a brawl broke out in the ring when Storm and Sabin attacked the two teams. IMPACT Wrestling closed with the three teams fighting off each other.

While it seems like we are heading towards a three-way clash, it makes sense if Private Party is given a one-on-one shot before heading into that direction. Also, with Good Brothers regularly appearing on both IMPACT and AEW, they can have separate rivalries on the two shows with these two teams.

#4 Rich Swann and Moose collide on IMPACT Wrestling

At IMPACT Wrestling: Hard to Kill, the team of Rich Swann, Moose, and Chris Sabin lost their match to Kenny Omega and Good Brothers. Post-match, Moose, took down Swann, making a statement at the expense of the IMPACT World Champion.

On this week's IMPACT Wrestling, Swann made his way to the ring and said that pressure had the better of him on Saturday, due to which he lost the match. However, he said he isn't sure if his feud with Omega is done, but the AEW Champion isn't in the ring, but Moose is, who took him out after the match.

Self-proclaimed TNA World Champion Moose came out with a much calmer demeanor. Swann laid down a challenge to him on this very episode, but Moose said the match would happen on his terms. A brawl ensued between the two, with the IMPACT World Champion getting the better of the challenger.

With Omega also in the mix, it would be interesting to see how these three men collide in the coming weeks. While the AEW Champion will most probably wrestle at IMPACT Wrestling: Rebellion, Moose can get his title shot in the coming weeks.

#3 Eric Young defeats Rhino on IMPACT Wrestling, brutalizes him post-match along with Violent by Design

In the opening match of this week's IMPACT Wrestling, Eric Young took on Rhino in a singles clash. In the recently culminated IMPACT: Hard to Kill, Eric Young and Violent by Design defeated Rhino, Tommy Dreamer, and Cousin Jake in an 'Old School Rules' match.

The match was a pretty fun back-and-forth battle between the two veterans that featured plenty of outside shenanigans by Violent by Design. Young wisely attacked Rhino's injured ankle and used it to emerge victorious by submitting him.

Post-match, Joe Doering and Deaner attacked Rhino and brutalized his already weakened ankle. Cousin Jake was similarly attacked, with no save from Tommy Dreamer. Several referees made their way to the ring to stop the assault.

By the looks of it, this rivalry will continue for the coming months, possibly at least until IMPACT Wrestling: Rebellion, which is scheduled for 24th April 2021. It would be intriguing to see who shows up to even the odds in this rivalry to join Rhino and Cousin Jake.

#2 Kimber Lee and Susan eying Knockouts Tag Team Championship after defeating Jazz and Jordynne Grace on IMPACT Wrestling

Kimber Lee and Susan took on Jordynne Grace and Jazz, who reached the semi-finals of the Knockouts Tag Team Championship tournament on this week's IMPACT Wrestling. After a short, albeit fun match, Lee and Susan came up victorious, ably helped by IMPACT Knockouts Champion Deonna Purrazzo.

Kiera Hogan and Tasha Steelz, collectively known as Fire N Flava, who became the IMPACT Knockouts Tag Team Champions at Hard to Kill, are now possibly staring at their imminent challengers. Considering how fun Lee and Susan have been in their interactions with Purrazzo, it wouldn't come as a surprise if they are booked to go over the new champions whenever the match takes place.

With all three of them holding titles on IMPACT Wrestling, they can solidify themselves as the most impactful players on the show by running amock on the whole women's division. On the other hand, Jordynne Grace and Jazz might still come back for the heel duo to seek revenge for the cheap loss they suffered today.

#1 Brian Myers defeats Fallah Bahh on IMPACT Wrestling, gets challenged by Eddie Edwards for next week's episode

After defeating Josh Alexander on the pre-show of IMPACT Wrestling: Hard to Kill, Brian Myers seemingly found his permanent place on the roster. However, he had a bigger challenge waiting for him this week, when he took on Fallah Bahh in a singles competition. After an entertaining bout that used the big man-small man dynamic to perfection, Myers won after executing a low-blow on Bahh.

Since his move to IMPACT Wrestling, Myers seemingly found himself languishing with no direction. But with two consecutive wins behind him now, he can move on to bigger things. And he did find someone that can help elevate him.

After the match, Myers went backstage and asked the doctor to check on him. However, the doctor was treating Eddie Edwards at that time, who didn't like Myers's tone. He laid out a challenge for the match between the two on next week's episode.

While it's hard to imagine Edwards losing to Myers, the clash would help the latter find his footing in IMPACT Wrestling.
