Could Jordynne Grace regain the Knockouts Championship? What's Eric Young got to say to Eddie Edwards?

It's the second night of IMPACT Wrestling Emergence, and that means more championship bouts. Of course, Eddie Edwards would defend the IMPACT Wrestling World Championship in his weekly challenge.

However, the most important part of the night, of course, was the first ever IMPACT Wrestling Iron Woman Match in the Knockouts Division. Deonna Purrazzo put her title up against Jordynne Grace in an incredible thirty-minute main event.

Not only that, but we returned to Wrestle House tonight, where John E. Bravo was forced to either put up or shut up regarding his feelings for Rosemary. All that and much more. Tonight, we kicked things off with the IMPACT Wrestling World Champion.

Who was his challenger? None other than the legendary Rob Van Dam.

IMPACT Wrestling World Championship: Rob Van Dam w/Katie Forbes vs Eddie Edwards (c)

Eddie Edwards tossed Rob Van Dam to the floor with an overhead belly-to-belly suplex, but was caught going for a baseball slide. Rob Van Dam sent him into the steel as Katie Forbes twerked in admiration for her boyfriend.

RVD hit the spinning leg drop to the guard rail on Edwards. Back inside the ring, the two men came to blows, leading to RVD trapping Edwards in the ropes. As he distracted the ref, Forbes rocked Edwards with a running hip attack. Van Dam followed up with a split-legged moonsault and a running wheel kick in the corner.

Edwards turned things around with a counter into the Blue Thunder Bomb, but couldn't secure the pin. Van Dam caught Edwards with a body scissors pin, but was rocked with a rolling elbow into a tiger driver. RVD kicked out at two.

RVD was able to crotch Edwards on the top rope and land a diving side kick, setting up for Rolling Thunder. Edwards rolled out of harms way, avoiding the Five-Star Frog Splash and laying out the legend with the Boston Knee Party, retaining the IMPACT Wrestling World Championship.

Results: Eddie Edwards retained the IMPACT Wrestling World Championship against Rob Van Dam via pinfall.

Grade: B

After the match, Eric Young attacked Eddie Edwards. The World Class Maniac revealed that he'd be challenging for the IMPACT Wrestling World Championship next week.

IMPACT Wrestling: Wrestle House

Taya Valkyrie organized a special get together at IMPACT Wrestling: Wrestle House that The Deaners were excited about, dressed up wearing togas. Johnny Swinger told Cousin Jake a classic joke, throw powder in the face of everyone and yell "Fuji." Cody Deaner wasn't amused.

Swinger was seen in his room, explaining the Fuji prank to Crazzy Steve, who wasn't sold. Later on, Taya "Toga" Valkyrie and the rest of the house were drinking and dancing, but Valkyrie, in a drunken stupor, wasn't too excited to see Kylie Rae.

Valkyrie accidentally threw up on Crazzy Steve because, yeah why not? Tommy Dreamer made it known that two people were noticeably missing from this party, Rosemary and Lawrence D, which is why John E. Bravo is off pouting in his room.

As Lawrence D came around the corner, Swinger tried to hit him with some powder, but accidentally hit Crazzy Steve. Dreamer set up a blindfold match between the two. It's Match Time! The loser would have to dress like the other on next week's IMPACT Wrestling.

Blindfold Match: Johnny Swinger vs Crazzy Steve on IMPACT Wrestling

Crazzy Steve used a clown horn to distract Johnny Swinger. The Swing Man tried to use the crowd to help him find Crazzy Steve, much like Jake "The Snake" Roberts against Rick Martel at WrestleMania 7.

Unfortunately for Swinger, the crowd was a group of wrestlers who hated him. They tricked him into running into a turnbuckle, and Steve rolled him up with a school boy for the win.

Results: Crazzy Steve defeated Johnny Swinger on IMPACT Wrestling: Wrestle House.

Backstage, Eddie Edwards was looking for Eric Young. We then cut to a vignette for Bound For Glory, which will take place on October 24th later this year. The ad focused around the shattered mind of Eric Young.

Rhino challenged Reno Scum to a match on IMPACT Wrestling next week, and demanded the fans tweet #Heath4IMPACT so he could have his old tag team partner back.

Eddie Edwards came back down to the ring and demanded that Eric Young come to the ring, revealing that he was happy to put his IMPACT Wrestling World Championship on the line tonight.

Young came to the stage with a microphone in hand. The former World Champion said that Edwards was playing checkers while he was playing chess. He further poked and prodded at Edwards, taunting him for ending Rich Swann's career.

Again, Young said everything goes according to his plan, and the match will take place next week. Edwards said that's fine, but he's going to take a piece of Young this week. Security, referees and Scott D'Amore tried to separate the two of them as best they could. Young laughed in Edwards' face, claiming that he had the IMPACT Wrestling World Champion right where he wanted him.

Rohit Raju, the new IMPACT Wrestling X-Division Champion, was interviewed backstage, and said that he planned on giving everyone what he couldn't get. He's handing out title shots. The question is...Who can defeat Rohit?

Madison Rayne hosted another episode of Locker Room Talk with The Rascalz' Dez and Wentz. The Rascalz tried to get Rayne to light up, but the 5-time IMPACT Wrestling Knockouts Champion denied.

The guests for this week? Ace Austin and Madman Fulton. Fulton was too big to share the couch with The Rascalz, though Fulton did try. "If he fits, he sits, boys," said Austin. Rayne dug at them, asking if they were okay following their "devastating" loss to the Good Brothers last week.

The Rascalz laughed in their faces, and Austin kept Fulton from attacking them, claiming that they don't do that in front of the ladies. Rayne declined an invitation to the treehouse.

Sami Callihan hacked into the broadcast, stating that if RVD hadn't attacked him, he'd be IMPACT Wrestling World Champion right now. What was RVD's excuse? Well, he and Katie Forbes were too busy looking over their shoulders for the Draw.

Callihan said it won't be a surprise. Next week, he's going to take out RVD.

EC3 needs to destroy the TNA World Title
EC3 needs to destroy the TNA World Title

We got another vignette of EC3, who was in the middle of reliving the greatest day of his life. July 1st, 2015 Ethan Carter III captured the TNA World Championship by defeating IMPACT Wrestling legend and WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle.

EC3 claimed that it was the last moment he was ever happy, and he's struggling to let go of that moment. He gave everything for that championship win. He needed to free himself, and that meant destroying the TNA World Championship.

The title has made Moose, Mr. IMPACT Wrestling, a false idol, hiding his incredible talent behind a facade. In order to free, not only himself, but Moose, the TNA World Championship must be destroyed.

Brian Myers vs Willie Mack on IMPACT Wrestling

Chocolate Thunder easily outmaneuvered and outpowered Brian Myers. The former IMPACT Wrestling Tag Team Champion got heated, and took Mack down to the mat, forcing the ref to break it. As Mack picked himself up in the ropes, Myers yanked his arm, driving his neck into the top rope.

Willie Mack is able to bring Myers down for a nearfall with a sunset flip. As Myers kicked out, he laid out Mack with a big back elbow. As Myers bounced off the ropes, though, a surprise sky-high spinebuster planted him, giving Mack a chance to recover. A big swinging body slam set Mack up to hit the leg drop. 1-2-Myers kicked out.

The Samoan Drop-Standing Moonsault combination still couldn't put Myers away. As Myers tried to get to the top, a jumping headbutt stunned him. They brawled on the turnbuckle, and Myers was able to send Mack to the mat, following that with a diving elbow drop right to the center of the chest. Mack kicked out just in time.

A step-up enziguri also saw Mack barley kick out in time. Myers talked a bit too much trash and was rocked with a right hand. He avoided a Uranage, though, and caught Mack with a pin, holding the tights for the win.

Results: Brian Myers defeated Willie Mack via pinfall on IMPACT Wrestling.

IMPACT Wrestling: Wrestle House

Cousin Jake figured out what happened to Larry D. The cologne, the sports jacket, he's been "Stephan'd." It was an IMPACT Wrestling style "Family Matters" affair. Rosemary was about to go on a date with the now Lawrence D, but Alisha Edwards stopped it. Edwards stated that she was breaking John E. Bravo's heart. Tommy Dreamer tried to give Bravo a pep talk.

Rosemary tried to break things off with Lawrence D, but Bravo came in and slapped D across the face, fighting for Rosemary. That's right, it's Match Time!

Larry D vs John E. Bravo

Acey Romero was the guest ref this time. Bravo hit Lawrence D with an elbow, but was sent on his backside with a shoulder tackle. He followed up with the Best Hand in the House, ending the match rather quickly.

This is it. IMPACT Wrestling's first ever Knockouts Iron Woman Knockouts Match. Who would walk out of IMPACT Wrestling Emergence as the Knockouts Champion?

Thirty-Minute Iron Woman Match for the IMPACT Wrestling Knockouts Championship: Jordynne Grace vs Deonna Purrazzo (c)

Jordynne Grace and Deonna Purrazzo locked up in a first-ever moment for IMPACT Wrestling, as it was the company's first Iron Woman match in the Knockouts Division. Grace was able to keep up with Purrazzo's mat wrestling ability, even going so far as to tweak Purrazzo's arm.

Grace trapped the IMPACT Wrestling Knockouts Champion with a figure-four neck lock. Purrazzo escaped, but was too proud of the way she broke away, allowing Grace to roll her up for a near fall.Following a series of deep arm drags, Grace trapped Purrazzo in a single leg Boston Crab in the middle of the ring. Purrazzo, just barely, reached the ropes.

Back from the break, Purrazzo had taken over by bringing Grace to the floor and catching her with a nasty pump kick. Back in the ring, Purrazzo worked over the arm, stomping Grace's elbow and possibly jamming it.

Purrazzo, frustrated at the inability to get a submission, tossed Grace back to the floor as we cut to the break, a little under fifteen minutes left in the match.

During the break, Purrazzo caught Grace holding onto the steel steps, stomping on the fingers and hands. Grace was in agony, with her left arm covered in bruises and welts. A modified arm breaker earned Purrazzo a two-count.

Grace eventually took Purrazzo to the corner where she laid into her with elbows and forearms. The former IMPACT Wrestling Knockouts Champion brought Purrazzo up top for a superplex. Purrazzo fought it off, but a palm strike dazed the champ. A snap superplex left Purrazzo writhing in pain.

At just six and a half minutes, there wers still no falls scored by either competitor. Grace was able to trap Purrazzo in the rear naked choke. Purrazzo couldn't escape, and was put to sleep with four and a half minutes left to go.

First Fall: Jordynne Grace defeated Deonna Purrazzo via submission.

Purrazzo made it back to her feet and rocked Grace with a running knee, followed by a Koji Clutch. Grace made it to the ropes, but Purrazzo took a bit of extra time to focus on that injured arm. The former IMPACT Wrestling Knockouts Champion managed to fight back here.

Back to her feet, Grace beat down Purrazzo with more elbows and chops. The Grace Driver was denied, and Purrazzo escaped to the corner where she pulled the referee in front, causing Grace to take him out with a running body splash.

Grace planted Purrazzo with the Grace Driver. Unfortunately, the ref was still out. With Grace focused on waking the ref up, Purrazzo rocked her with a shot from the IMPACT Wrestling Knockouts Championship. That gave Purrazzo the tie.

Second Fall: Deonna Purrazzo defeated Jordynne Grace via pinfall.

With less than a minute to spare, Deonna Purrazzo failed to lock in the Fujiwara Armbar. Both women looked for heavy blows here. Grace, however, couldn't escape for too long. Eventually, the Fujiwara Armbar was locked in, and Grace tapped with five seconds to spare.

Third Fall: Deonna Purrazzo defeated Jordynne Grace via submission.

Results: Deonna Purrazzo defeated Jordynne Grace to retain the IMPACT Wrestling Knockouts Championship.
