Welcome to this week's preview of the IMPACT Wrestling episode. This year's Slammiversary has turned the fortune of the company moving forward. Although there hasn't been much improvement with the ratings, several fresh faces have surfaced to bring notable changes to current storylines.

Last week, the company provided all the fallout from the recently concluded pay-per-view. The episode was decent considering the in-ring action, but Jay White, Mickie James, and Chelsea Green showing up brought some eyeballs.

The management will be looking to provide a much better edition of IMPACT Wrestling this time around. Ahead of the show, several exciting matches, including the debut of the NJPW star, have already been announced.

That said, let's take a look at what to expect this Thursday.

#5 Jay White makes his in-ring debut on IMPACT Wrestling

Jay White's stunning appearance at Slammiversary has become the story of the IMPACT Wrestling program ever since.

In the upcoming episode, Jay White will make his in-ring debut as he teams up with Chris Bey to take on the Good Brothers. Last week, the Bullet Club leader justified the reason behind showing up at Slammiversary, stating that he came here for David Finlay as both men are scheduled to have a match for the NEVER Openweight Championship at Resurgence on August 14.

During his promo, Jay White took a shot at The Elite, stating that the Good Brothers only became relevant because of their ties with the Bullet Club. Switchblade also reflected on the time he defeated Kenny Omega.

The Elite confronted Jay White from a distance, mocking the current Bullet Club stable, claiming that it features only mid-carders. While Don Callis prevented Kenny Omega from going further into an argument with Jay White, the Good Brother expressed their frustration by assaulting Jay White.

But IMPACT Wrestling star Chris Bey surfaced to save the day for the Switchblade.

It looks like the seeds for chapter two of Kenny Omega vs. Jay White have been planted. But the Bullet Club leader needs to overcome the lurking threat of Karl Anderson and Doc Gallows this week.

Jay White's recruitment of IMPACT Wrestling star Chris Bey into his stable will provide some relevancy to the latter's character. The storyline seems to be more about depicting the supremacy between The Elite and The Bullet Club.

Jay White's debut match this Thursday will be nothing short of a delight for fans in attendance. It could unveil some big plans for the upcoming Bound For Glory pay-per-view, which is months away.

Regardless of what the company has planned for the future, this week on IMPACT Wrestling one could expect utter chaos from the match between the Good Brothers and Jay White & Chris Bey.

#4 The Violent By Design faces Rich Swann & Willie Mack on IMPACT Wrestling

A tag team match pitting Violent By Design against Rich Swann & Willie Mack will take place on IMPACT Wrestling this week.

The Eric Young-led stable recently lost their IMPACT World Tag Team Championships to the Good Brothers in a four-way match at Slammiversary.

The decision to take away tag team titles from them was itself a big letdown from the management. VBD was the only rising stable on the entire roster during the pandemic era, and they certainly elevated the division in no time.

The company must have wanted to make all the members of The Elite carry the gold around their waist.

Nevertheless, the move came at the expense of Violent By Design. They have now been put into a filler feud against Rich Swann and Willie Mack. Although there's no compelling story between the two teams, the company has somehow managed to depict beef between the two sides since their Slammiversary bout.

Last week on IMPACT Wrestling, the Eric-Young-led group even made a mysterious attack on the babyface team when they were cutting a promo via a vignette.

Their upcoming bout will be a hard-hitting contest. Sadly, it won't lead anywhere.

#3 Taylor Wilde faces Kaleb with K on IMPACT Wrestling

In the upcoming episode of IMPACT Wrestling, Taylor Wilde will lock horns with Kaleb with a K in an intergender match.

Taylor Wilde made her much-awaited return last week to launch an assault on Kaleb and help Chelsea Green steal victory in a six-way tag team match. The bout featured Tenille Dashwood, Kaleb & Brian Myers against Chelsea Green, Matt Cardona & Jake Something.

Taylor Wilde has remained absent from TV for the last couple of months. Many assumed she would challenge Deonna Purrazzo for the Knockouts Championship at this year's Slammiversary, considering the beef developed when she returned to the company after a decade-long hiatus.

Nevertheless, she has now rekindled her rivalry with Tenille Dashwood. It is worth noting that Taylor Wilde and Tenille Dashwood shared a brief alliance a few months ago, with the latter convincing Wilde to challenge for the Knockouts Tag Team Championships.

IMPACT Wrestling star Taylor Wilde will surely win her match against Kaleb this week. It remains to be seen what the company has in store for these two women moving forward. Will they keep their issues aside and challenge Rosemary and Havok? We'll find out this week.

#2 Will Chelsea Green challenge Deonna Purrazzo on IMPACT Wrestling?

IMPACT Wrestling star and current Knockouts Champion Deonna Purrazzo is currently short of babyface challengers.

She successfully defended her title against AEW's Thunder Rosa at the Slammiversary event. Following her bout, legendary female star Mickie James confronted her and asked to partake in the upcoming NWA's EmPowerrr event.

However, things didn't go as planned, and Virtuosa ended up taking the Mick Kick from Mickie James.

Fans thought this could initiate a feud between the two women, but Mickie James settled her beef with Deonna Purrazzo last week. The Knockouts Champion even agreed to come to the NWA for the women's event.

That said, fans are now expecting someone to challenge Deonna Purrazzo for the Knockouts Championship.

One shouldn't be surprised if Chelsea Green comes out this week on IMPACT Wrestling to confront Deonna Purrazzo. The latter was one of many big names that showed up at Slammiversary. Green even ended her feud with IMPACT Wrestling star Dashwood last week.

The company must capitalize on her momentum and put her into the title scene. The former WWE superstar could be the perfect opponent to dethrone Deonna Purrazzo. Both women are of equal caliber and can deliver some quality bouts down the line.

#1 Moose faces Chris Sabin on IMPACT Wrestling

The upcoming episode of IMPACT Wrestling will feature a singles match between Moose and Chris Sabin in a rematch from Slammiversary.

Chris Sabin stunned the wrestling world on July 17th after he defeated IMPACT Wrestling star Moose. Both men have been embroiled in a heated rivalry ever since Moose was screwed out of his fair IMPACT World Championship match against Kenny Omega.

Sabin got the ultimate revenge from the Wrestling God, who brutally assaulted him and put him on the shelf for weeks. Although everyone thought their Slammiversary bout would be a one-off, it looks like both men are in for a full-fledged rivalry.

However, their feud hasn't clicked the way everyone anticipated. Moose should have turned heel after facing a classic babyface like Chris Sabin. But it isn't too late either, as the company can book Moose to display heelish tactics this week to win the match.

This will prolong the rivalry, and both men could then have their rubber match at a later date. A character change is what Moose requires to get his career back on track.
