Patna Pirates were crowned the Champions of the third edition of Pro Kabaddi

Having a great run at the Star Sports Pro Kabaddi in the 3rd season, the pirates built a formidable team participating in a day long aggressive and competitive player auction for the 4th season of pro kabaddi. The league, which gives the sport of kabaddi a distinctive contemporary Indian identity, is promoted by Mashal Sports and Star India. It has the backing of the Amateur Kabaddi Federation of India and the International Kabaddi Federation.

Pirates through a focused and strategic bidding were able to stitch together a balanced team during the auction. Rajesh Shah, team owner Patna pirates, on the occasion said “In the auction this time we have ensured that our squad is stronger and well balanced as post our performance in the last season we are more focused towards the game as Season 4 is all set for the closest set of contests yet!"

“The fresh squad has been chosen keeping in mind the experience of the players and the proven track record in the previous seasons. We retained raiders Rajesh Mondal and Pardeep Narwal from previous season, while the new players added to the team are Sunil Kumar defender and raider Sunny.”
