It’s all over, with each team having fulfilled their player quota for the season! Some really big buys today, both domestic and international. The standout of the evening, however, was defender Mohit Chhillar, who went for a record-shattering 53lakh – that amount is an all-time high in the four-year history of the Pro Kabaddi League so far.

Teams are willing to go all out to get the players they need to complete an all-round side! Tushar Patil was highly sought-after by former team Puneri Paltan, but they were outbid by the Jaipur Pink Panthers today.

Joginder Singh Narwal has become part of a bidding frenzy, and Puneri Paltan go all out to sign him! Patna Pirates, Jaipur Pink Panthers and U Mumba are still to complete their 15-player quota.

Preetam Chhillar has joined Puneri Paltan, while Sandeep joins the Telugu Titans...and another Chhillar is sold as Mohit is taken by the Bengaluru Bulls. Mohit Chhillar was the most expensive player ever sold in the history of the Pro Kabaddi League. He went under the hammer for a record-breaking 53 lakh.

The Bengaluru Bulls have added yet another player to their roster. This time, it’s Rohit Baliyan who joins their ranks. Also sold is Gurvinder Singh, who goes to U Mumba. Mumba have retained all-rounder Rakesh Kumar.

Some of the big names are flying to teams! Another raider this time, Deepak Narwal, goes under the hammer - and he's bought by Dabang Delhi. They are now only two players away from their 15-man quota.

The Bengal Warriors are the first to complete their 15-member quota, buying Ravi Dalal to reach that milestone.

A lot of teams seem to be pushing to enhance their raiding departments, with Mahesh Goud going to the Patna Pirates. Meanwhile, Shabeer Bappu S goes to the Jaipur Pink Panthers.

Deepak Kumar Dahiya, who was with the Bengaluru Bulls, will raid again for the team this year.

Jasmer Singh Gulia will tackle for the Telugu Titans, while Bajirao Hodage is signed by the Patna Pirates today!

The Bengal Warriors are looking strong on the raiding front, with Nitin Madane, Surjeet and Jang Kun Lee all on the team!

Ajay Thakur of Puneri Paltan is signed by the team for another season! Meanwhile, star raider Surjeet Narwal moves to the Bengal Warriors for Season 4.

Former Telugu Titan Dharmaraj Cheralathan is quickly signed now by the Patna Pirates.

Defenders Vishal Mane, Nilesh Shinde and Girish are all signed by the Bengal Warriors, who are looking to build up that aspect of their squad.

Mohit Chillar is up for bidding – and quickly has become the most expensive player sold today! Bengaluru Bulls have bagged him, and he’ll be joined by former U Mumba defender Surender Nada.

Indian players now up for auction! Sandeep Narwal is the first Indian player up for auction. The former Patna Pirates star is involved in a four-way battle, with the Telugu Titans ultimately winning the bid.

Rakesh Kumar is retained by U Mumba!

A number of bidding wars are underway here for several players, and next involved in one is Ran Singh, who is bought by Jaipur. U Mumba will keep Jeeva Kumar.

To end the foreign player auctions, Masayuki Shimokawa moves to the Jaipur Pink Panthers, while Mohammad Arduzzaman Munshi goes to U Mumba.

Meyraj Sheikh is with Dabang Delhi, while Mohammad Maghsoudlou of Iran, who was earlier with the Jaipur Pink Panthers, and Muhammad Rizwan, the first Pakistani sold in the Pro Kabaddi auctions, are both bought by the Telegu Titans.

Korean Kabaddi player Jang Kun Lee is the next in line and teams are, as expected, clamouring to sign him. He is the most successful foreign player in the Pro Kabaddi League, and the 23-year-old will remain with the Bengal Warriors.

The Warriors are not the only team to retain their foreign players; Patna Pirates also keep Hadi Oshtorak. He was 2015’s most expensive player, and the Iranian is one of the earliest on the gavel today.

Auctions have begun! Fazel Atrachali of Iran is the first player to be auctioned, and several teams are duking it out to purchase Atrachali for their teams. In the end it is Patna Pirates who make the first purchase of the night with Atrachali.

The auctions are now on for the 2016 edition of the Star Sports Pro Kabaddi League. It is the fourth season of the popular league, and will see players auctioned to teams across the board as each side fights for glory.

Each of the three previous seasons has seen a different winner, with the inaugural season held in 2014. That title was taken by the Jaipur Pink Panthers, with U Mumba runners-up at the end of that year.

U Mumba would play the Bengaluru Bulls in the following edition of the Star Sports Pro Kabaddi League in 2015 to win the title.

The most recent edition of the Pro Kabaddi League, held in 2016, will see two editions – the first was held in January and February this year, while the second is due to be held in a few months’ time between July and August 2016.
