Pardeep Narwal and Naveen Kumar, two of Pro Kabaddi’s biggest names in Indian Kabaddi will face off when the Patna Pirates square off against Dabang Delhi in the 108th match of Pro Kabaddi 2019.
Patna Pirates lost to Haryana in the last match which now leaves them at the 9th spot with 39 points from 18 matches. Their strike raider Pardeep Narwal has had to stretch himself throughout the season for the sake of his team and his total of 224 points is second only to Pawan Sehrawat’s 245.
With Jang Kun Lee’s return, Patna have become a relatively better attacking unit. But a major reason for most of their losses has been the continuous drain of points by their defensive unit along with the inability of their support raiders to score points.
Their corners Jaideep and Hadi Oshtorak could not make a significant impact in the last game as Patna scored only 6 tackle points in the match. Pardeep has given his best to fetch some valuable points in tight situations, but Patna’s defence hasn’t been able to hold that lead well.
Delhi’s Naveen Kumar is up next against them, and the defenders will need to be at their absolute best. Patna will need big defenders like Neeraj Kumar to rise to the occasion.

Delhi produced a thriller in their last game against Bengaluru as Naveen Kumar’s 15th consecutive super 10 of the season almost took his team home. His swift movement has been a key feature of which that has kept the best of defenders on their toes throughout.
Naveen has been assisted very well by Chandran Ranjit throughout this season. In case of any injuries, Delhi also have the services of Meraj Sheykh and Vijay, who can fill in the void.
Their defence has been supreme this season. They have conceded the least number of all-outs this so far (13). Right corner Ravinder Pahal and skipper Joginder Narwal have been the pillars of this defence. The team has also benefited by some quality contributions coming from Vishal Mane and Anil Kumar.
