Dabang Delhi KC come off their first loss of the season losing 31-26 to the Gujarat Fortune Giants due to a lack of defensive resilience and support for lead raider Naveen Kumar.
Jaipur, meanwhile go marching on on the back of their 4th win of the season as they trounced the home side Patna Pirates quite convincingly by a 14-point margin thanks to another superb defensive effort from left corner Sandeep Dhull and a good raiding effort from former Pirates man Deepak Narwal.

Dabang Delhi KC's raiding unit struggled to get past the Gujarat defense with only Naveen Kumar managing to score 10 raid points with little support from Chandran Ranjit. Vijay, the all-rounder who was brought in instead of Meraj Sheykh could not make too much of an impact and we could see Meraj Sheykh back in the squad.
Joginder Singh Narwal in the left corner has looked sharp and so has Iranian Saeid Ghaffari in the left cover. Ravinder Pahal and Vishal Mane can however produce better performances and need to come good against this strong Jaipur raiding unit.

Though Deepak Niwas Hooda could manage just 1 raid point, Jaipur marched on comfortably and that speaks volumes about the quality in their raiding unit. It was Deepak Narwal who led the attack with 9 crucial raid points and he was supported well enough Ajinkya Pawar with 3 points.
But it was the defense which shined on the night with both the corners picking 13 tackle points between them with Sandeep Dhull in the left corner with 8 points while Amit Hooda managed 5 tackle points. Sunil Siddghavali in the right cover had yet another disappointing night while his partner in the left cover, Vishal did pretty well. They however need to be on their toes to deal with the young sensation, Naveen Kumar.
