Commonwealth Games 2014: Mixed day for Indian women in lawn bowls

Glasgow, July 29 (IANS) Indian women won in pairs event, but lost their triples match in lawn bowls of the 2014 Commonwealth Games on Monday.

The Indian team won their first match in the second round of pairs in section B beating Jersey Islands 14-12 at the Kelvingrove Lawn Bowls centre.

The Indian women, however, lost their triples match in section A against Malaysia 14-16.
