Commentary

Sydney Thunders giving an excellent fight here but they were not able to get to the target here. The Thunders after losing the wicket of the top order off which Wilson and Litchfield played a very good knock scoring a 40 runs each! It was Wong who started playing a Wonder Woman's knock here by hitting a total of six sixes off which 3 in a row came off the 17th over but it wasn't enough to chase down the huge total after her wicket fell. The Adelaide Strikers with an amazing performance with the ball as well with the skipper and Wellington taking 2 wickets each along with Schutt and Barsby doing her best and ensuring that the team does not make the total. It was also the slow start after getting derailed with the first wicket that put a lot of pressure on them towards the end and they will surely look to try and not repeat the same from the games in the future.
